The Epic Factor: Bringing Quality To You

Our Values

A Standard of Excellence

We value quality.

Developing quality content is a non-linear process: it requires research, consistent feedback, an understanding of your audience, and a dedication to high standards.

The Epic Factor represents the passion and verve that we put into crafting edgy narratives with tons of depth. But more than that, it’s also about our commitment to readerships: if it doesn’t resonate, it’s not epic. And if it’s not epic — it’s not worth sharing with the world.

Connections

We love people.

If you spend your time curating a blog or developing content for a dynamic website, why would you settle for anything less than words that matter? We advocate the best writers from all over the world and connect them to you, facilitating the cross-pollination of ideas, stories, emotions, and messages that inspire.

Authority

    We don’t mess around.

We represent writers who understand the value of self-criticism, constructive ideation, and authority — writers who have been referenced by elite colleges and prominent institutions around the globe.

It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for something witty, something serious, or a unique story that sits just between the two: we have the capacity for it all, and we’ll help come up with an idea that your readers will love.

The Epic Factor

We go big, or we go home.

This is what makes us special. It’s the factor that makes you look at a piece of writing and know that somebody put their heart and soul into it. It’s what makes people want to comment about that writing, or engage in debates about it. It’s the core that makes social value and web virality function. We like to say it’s epic.

How We Can Help

Content With Meaning

The Pledge

Fastidious is a great word whose origins can be traced back to the 15th century. It suggests an extreme regard for accuracy, attention to detail, and cleanliness. Too often have we found that the Internet is riddled not just with misinformation, but also with dull content spun together purely for purposes that are the exact opposite of what people actually want. But that’s where we come in: Epic Factor pledges only to endorse writers who produce content that is unique, loud, and at the leading edge of innovation. We pledge to be fastidious: our writers pore over their words and sentences until they’re as perfect as they can make them — and even then, we understand that the greatest literary masterpieces of history could still be edited today by the right person (of course, we still respect those masterpieces). By creating journalistic content that is well-researched and bold, our writers position themselves to be leading voices within the microcosms of their specialties.

Investigative Journalistic Craft

To put it frankly, there are a lots of writers out there whose voices go unheard simply because they’re not connected with the right people. This needs to change for a few reasons: first, developing professional level craft in both narrative prose and investigative journalistic research is hard. It takes many years of writing, reading, and editing. It takes consistent practice, work ethic, and a passionate dedication that very few people are willing to spend the time to foster. Because of the steep learning curve associated with superior written craft, it makes sense that those who do it well should be celebrated — that their work might spread to the eyes and minds of others is a boon both to readerships abound and to writers. More importantly, excellently researched material that is entertaining and informative generates authority and a singular reputation both for you and for the author.

We also maintain a blog about writing online and English education.

White Papers

We at Epic Factor believe that well-written white papers demonstrate a keen combination of persuasive writing, research, and succinct language that is tantamount to accesible writing. The following are a collection of white papers on various topics that are chosen for their breadth, clear writing voice, and general interest to the public. We’ll update this list over time to keep writers young and old on their toes when it comes to the facets of expertly written content. In general, white papers seek to provide actionable solutions to solve a problem — meaning that they are crafted in such a way that their narrative blends historical precedence with parallels to how that context can be applied to the modern world. Parallelism is a metaphorical methodology in writing whose power many people take for granted.
